November 2007
We've got windows in the back structure. Well .... not quite windows. The window apertures have been cut and we're going to be putting in
perspex windows for the short term. We don't want to fit the final windows until we've finished all the welding, grinding and painting for obvious reasons.
Work continues on the inside with the floor nearly complete in the upstairs section. Once that's done we'll be able to put in the staircse to the bedrooms.
September 2007
We're working hard to seal up the back structure and get some paint on it before the winter sets in. The idea is that we will move into the back of the vessel over the winter, ready to strip out the front and replace the bridge. We've added some photos to the site that show the exterior work coming along well.
August 2007
As you may have noticed we haven't been keeping the site up to date! We have been working on Atlantis and lots of other projects. Anyway we'l be adding some new photos and information soon. Here's a run-down on what we've been doing in 2007:
- Foaming, flooring and building the bedrooms and bathroom in the fish-hold
- Welding up the back structure ready for us to move into this winter
- Adding the curved plating around the roof of the structure
- Prepping and painting the hull
- Moving to a new wharf where we can work on the boat 7 days a week
Well, that's it for now. We'll be updating more soon.
